01 Ingredients

    Dressing

  • 1/4 cupchopped parsley
  • 1/4 cupchopped cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp.chopped garlic
  • 1/4 tspdried chili flakes
  • 1 tbspred wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cupolive oil
  • salt to taste
  • Vegetables

  • 1 cupfennel, cut in julienne
  • 1 cupTreviso and/or radicchio, cut in julienne
  • 1 cupaikon radish, cut in julienne
  • 2 headsBelgian endive, slivered
  • 4green onions, sliced on the diagonal)

02 Instructions

  1. combine all dressing ingredients in a medium bowl
  2. soak all the shredded vegetables in ice water for 30 minutes
  3. drain well and pat dry
  4. pour dressing over shredded vegetables and toss to coat
  5. serve cold

    Barbecue Sauce

  • 1 cuptomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp.Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp.soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp.brown sugar
  • 1/4 cupcider vinegar
  • 1 tsp.chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp.chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp.ancho chili powder
  • 1 tsp.sambal oelek or other hot chili sauce
  • Chicken Wings

  • 2 lbs.chicken wings, wing tips discarded, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp.vegetable oil
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

02 Instructions

  1. combine tomato sauce, mustard, soy sauce, brown sugar, cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, chili powder and sambal oelek in a small pot over high heat
  2. bring to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar
  3. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until sauce thickens (this will make about 1 cup of sauce)
  4. divide into 2 bowls, one for basting and one for dipping
  5. preheat grill to medium-high
  6. toss chicken wings with oil and season with salt and pepper6. 7. place chicken wings on grill, and grill for 3 minutes
  7. turn over and grill another 3 minutes
  8. brush liberally with sauce and turn over again
  9. repeat turning and brushing with sauce every 3 minutes or until chicken wings are cooked through, about 12 to 20 minutes total, depending on the size of the wings
  10. serve the remaining sauce separately for dipping

  • 8 largemarshmallows

02 Instructions

  1. put hazelnut spread on graham crackers
  2. toast marshmallows over campfire
  3. place marshmallow in between two graham crackers
